WHO ARE WE
Peterborough City Church is a lively, friendly, vibrant family with a passion for extravagant worship, and powerful preaching and teaching. We believe in heaven on earth encounters and we want to be a part of a supernatural change in Peterborough. Our heart is to see prodigals come home, witness the move of the Holy Spirit, see salvation and to be a church that will take responsibility for our city. We believe that the Church must function 24/7 throughout our city, within our workplaces and families and equip our congregation to be strong witnesses throughout all walks of life.
We love to fellowship socially as a Church family and encourage an environment that enables people from all walks of life to be a part.
WHO ARE ELIM
Elim is a Pentecostal church movement which has over 550 congregations across the UK and Ireland alone. It was founded by George Jeffereys in 1915. He and a group of friends planted churches, preached and witnessed a move of God that was characterised by mass salvation and miraculous healings. ‘Elim’ is the name of an oasis in the Bible that the people of Israel discovered as they wandered through the desert. It provided shade and refreshment to all who encountered it. This expresses the vision of Elim's founders.
